Events in Nanaimo this week

Issue #87 - May 29, 2007

Life on the water... well, I prefer 'in the water'. If you haven't discovered some of the great safe places along the Nanaimo river or dipped your toes in one of the city's many lakes, it could be a whole new adventure for you. I think we'll be working on a little boating vacation this summer as well. If only there were some kind of outdoor activities to do on this island. ;)

After this weekend, I'm sure Dave will have a new 'Hobby-of-the-month". He's mentioned, on more than one occasion his need for a boat. Admittedly a boat of some kind would be welcome. We just need to finish the backyard project before we hit the high seas. Here's hoping all your sea-faring dreams come true.

See you there
